This is what we've been up to

LOUx 16 Feb at Emma Centrum

LOUx is about your ideas!

We come together as fellows of the Louis Bonaparte Society and celebrate what to us life is all about: Philosophy, Science, Art, Discussions, Food, Drinks and Friendship in a relaxed, low-key atmosphere.

Up to three LOBOS fellows will give short presentations about topics that matter to them and us, followed by sufficient time for plenary discussion as well as whatever-you-feel-like engagement amidst good food and drink.

In previous LOUx editions we heard (among other things) about EEG brainwaves, 3D printers, Game of Thrones, the economic crisis, the history of animated film in the Netherlands, sea slugs, and fractals. If you have something you want to talk about do let us know! We also welcome you to bring a musical instrument for potential subtle and delightful interludes.

The board will provide drinks and cook our signature specialty soup for all. Furthermore, this year we wanted to make it a potluck dinner: participating fellows are invited to bring some of their favorite food to share. This is always great fun and Louis can’t wait for it to start!

This edition will take place on the 16th of February, 2017, 18:30 at the EMMA Centrum, Cremerstraat 245/247, 3532BJ Utrecht.

The event is free but we ask you to sign up!
